Welcome to the blog!

There’s something so deep about love that knows what suffering feels like. This last year has been full of it for these two, a lot of hard cards dealt their way, but their relationship is stronger being on the other side of the worst of it now.

And you see it in the way they look at each other, the way they fit in a way no one else could. They turned towards each other instead of away in times of trial, firmly anchoring their relationship when everything else was uncertain.

It can be hard to get excited when it feels like you’re waiting for the other shoe to drop, but this wedding was full of gratitude for everyone present (both in person and from afar) and hopefulness for the future – whatever that holds for these two. And a lot of joking around with each other because they’re sassy as heck, y’all. Sweet as can be, too ♥️

Congratulation Katie & Jordan!!

Katie’s mama was very sick earlier this year and doctors weren’t sure she’d make it, but she’s a fighter!! What a gift for her to be standing next to her daughter!

Keeping her dearly departed grandma and her best friend, Kirsten, who couldn’t make it to the wedding because she’s away for school in Australia. So thoughtful and meaningful to have these women close to Katie as she walked down the aisle!

Normally I really hate it when phones / cameras are out during the ceremony, but I already knew this phone would be connected to Katie’s best friend in Australia!! Kirsten couldn’t make it for the wedding, so she FaceTimed the whole thing ♥️
