Welcome to the blog!

You can learn a lot about people by watching them.

Jeremy set the table, choosing the smallest plate and squishiest spot, letting his friends have more room both on their plates and for their elbows. These simple gestures showcased his character, the mark of someone with incredible virtue deeply ingrained in himself.

Sara poured sparkling water for others, thanked friends for making food, and assured her getting ready entourage of their beauty and gift of presence with her that morning. Her beautiful soul radiated light, enveloping each person in the glow of her kindness.

Their friends were joking around while aware of the weight of the day ahead, ridiculous conversations followed by serious, heartfelt prayers. Sterling, Sara’s maid of honour, affectionately called me the 7th bridesmaid since I’d be spending so much time with them that day and honestly, I felt like it. I felt so welcomed and loved by this group in the time we spent together – I can’t believe it was just a few hours!

The glory of this day, the glory of what God has done in Sara & Jeremy’s lives, was spoken of and magnified and led back to the power of Jesus over and over again. Their ceremony gave me goosebumps as the entire room sang & proclaimed truth over their marriage. Their relationship is truly a gift to each other, to their community, and to the world.

Congratulations Sara & Jeremy – it’s been a gift straight to my heart to be witness to your story!

xoxo
