One day all your children will have of you are photos.

make sure you're in them.

I’ll bet it’s not whether you thought she had weight to lose.

Your kids will look back at photos with you and pick out the feel of home in your arms, not what you looked like.

We’re our own worst critics, that’s for sure.

But the day is coming soon enough that all you and your children will have from this season of life are the memories you’re making together. You might be taking lots of photos of what’s going on so you can remember all the details…

But how many of them are you in?

If you’ve only been on the picture-taker side of things, that’s okay. Now’s the time to get in the photo.

the rounded edges of your body don't matter to them.

Your kids want to remember you, too.

You matter to them.

when you look at photos of you with your mom from when you were a kid, what do you see first?

Life will be busy forever, full of folding laundry and making lunches, but you can choose to pause in the midst of it all and say, this? This season of our lives deserves to be remembered.

These are the most important people in your life, no matter how much you've got going on.

Having evidence of all the seasons you’ve gone through reminds everyone of the importance of this adventure: how life was back then, how it is now, how you can share your family’s story for generations to come.

There will never be a better time.

It made me think of the photos you took of us in Calgary back in 2014. That month is when we finally got pregnant with Maggie after years of trying. It brings me so much joy to think of those photos side by side with these of our family now.

You have given us a glimpse of our family as we have grown together.
God is good indeed.

THESE ARE SO WONDERFUL AND TELL THE STORY OF SUCH A PRECIOUS TIME IN OUR LIVES.

F.A.Q.

which type of session is right for me?

A full portrait session can be done almost anywhere, including your home, so if you’re attached to a location or want photos in your home (like with your new baby!) then definitely go for that one. If your kids just won’t last longer than 30 min, a mini session is the way to go.

F.A.Q.

how do i book?

Pick a date, pay the session fee, and you’re done! Payment can be made via credit card or e-transfer. Click that BOOK NOW button to see my calendar! Or you can head to my contact form and get in touch first.

F.A.Q.

what if it rains?

If it’s sideways raining and just a mess out there, I’ll make the call to reschedule. If it’s just cloudy and misty, that can make for beautifully intimate photos so we’ll go ahead!

F.A.Q.

what if we need to reschedule for something else?

If you get sick, that’s out of your control and we’ll reschedule for sure! For anything else a rescheduling fee may apply. Of course, life happens, so just tell me as soon as you know you need to reschedule and we can probably figure something out!

F.A.Q.

when's the best time to do photos?

I can make pretty much anything work for beautiful photos, but I LOVE golden hour. That means starting your session 1-2 hours before sunset to get that golden glow! Mini sessions are all in the afternoon to account for softer light, but grab one of those last couple of slots for the best golden light.
