Elizabeth is one of my favourite human beings. She is willing to go above & beyond to serve people, and I am constantly blown away by her generosity & huge heart. I refer to her as “My Little Intern” not because she’s younger than me but because sometimes I just want to squeeze her cheeks & squeal about how much I love her. And she’d probably let me but only because she knows I’m a physical touch kind of love language person & she understands my intense need to express my emotions soo… bless her heart.

 

 

Liz is the absolute perfect fit to be my sidekick this wedding season. God brought us together as yet-to-meet roomies for Rise Up in Calgary, but there was nothing random about it; we shared a room for a reason. She is full of joy, keeps me sane, and has my back no matter what, supporting this business God has entrusted to me and cheering me on.

She is an all in kind of woman, not settling into mediocrity in any area of her life. A real generation changer. I’m so honoured to have an inside look into her heart. Our friendship will last long beyond this 2015 wedding season, y’all.

 

 

Today is HER BIRTHDAY!!

So I asked her to do one of my favourite birthday traditions! And, naturally, I’m including a slew of images she doesn’t know I’ve kept throughout the summer… lololololol. Perks of being the boss, amiright.

Three Things I’ve Learned In the Past Year: 

• Not to wait until I’m perfect before doing things.
• Marble jar friends are the best kind of friends (& I’ve learned who my marble jar friends are!).
• I looooove weddings <3

 

 

Two Things I Want to Learn/Do In the Next Year:

• Write more; start a blog.
• Give more affirmation to those around me.

 

 

One Piece of Advice:

• Don’t be afraid of what is holding you back.
