Here’s the roadmap to get you & your fiance on the same page about your wedding day

—Without the details taking over your entire engagement.

Where do you start? How do you narrow down your guest list, pick out a caterer, plan a honeymoon … and ready yourselves to say your vows?

... and are excited to sort out all the details, but you also want your focus to be on Jesus while you prepare for marriage.

You have the vision for how you want to celebrate your marriage ...

The checklists you downloaded from Pinterest can only get you so far.

It’s time to get clear on what’s top priority for the two of you—and surrender the rest to God.

Imagine knowing exactly what matters most and making all your decisions with those things in mind, not just because someone else told you to do it.

(Because someone else will tell you what to do and responding with kindness is easier when you’re confident in your plans.)

If you aren’t intentionally making decisions at the beginning of your engagement, you’ll arrive at your wedding day overwhelmed and unprepared.

Plus, you’re already busy with life as it is.

Wedding planning will fill every minute of your time if you let it, leaving no room for interior reflection as you prepare to go from Miss to Mrs.

Enter: The Newly Engaged Kit

A collection of digital resources to guide you through the decisions you need to make at the beginning of your engagement to enter this season with clarity and confidence, grounded in prayer throughout it all.

(And most of it is designed to be printed—grab your collection of coloured pens to fill it out, my friend).

Here's what's inside:

Begin your engagement in a rhythm of prayer together by reflecting on Jesus’ example of free, total, faithful, and fruitful love—the kind marriage requires.

Because planning a wedding means you’re getting married (duh), so prepare accordingly.

from my customers

You can't talk to everyone about each part of the Mass on your wedding day, but the descriptions throughout the program help convey the deep beauty of the Mass in a way that will surely evangelize to everyone who comes to your wedding.

The truth is spoken beautifully and gently and will help everyone feel more included.”

Frequently Asked questions

What's the difference between The Newly Engaged Kit and The Catholic Wedding Kit?

The Catholic Wedding Kit includes everything in the Newly Engaged Kit (and more). If you just need to get started on the right foot with your wedding planning, the Newly Engaged Kit is perfect. If you'd like to get everything sorted for your wedding in one place, then the Catholic Wedding Kit is the way to go!

I already have a wedding date and venue, will this help me?

Yes! If you haven’t had a conversation with each other about what your priorities are for your wedding, or how you want this season of life to be lived out, then this Kit will absolutely help you be intentional about your engagement, even with some big items checked off your list already. Plus sharing your plans with your wedding party as they accompany you through this time is so helpful—communication is key! And of course, setting aside time to reflect on married love will help keep you grounded as you get into the thick of wedding planning.

The guest list is our biggest sticking point right now—will this help us narrow it down?

Yes! I know it can be so hard to curate your loved ones into one list, so I created a set of questions to guide you through doing just that. Plus, if your priorities allow for it, you could include more people on your list than you think you have to cut! Or you’ll be able to cut it off at your max guest count and feel confident about it.

I have a wedding planner already, should I still get this Kit?

Your planner is going to make your life so much easier, but you still need to tell your planner what’s most important to you about your wedding! If you’re unsure how to answer that, or how to communicate with your planner or your fiance about the vision, the First Things First Guide will help you be clear on your priorities. It’s not your planner’s job to communicate to your wedding party, to the Wedding Party Playbook will help you to keep them in the loop, too. And since your planner will be taking care of the wedding details, you’ll be able to spend your energy preparing your heart for marriage with the Foundations of Love Prayer Guide. Win, win, win.

Do we both have to be Catholic to use this Kit?

Long story short, nope! Long story long, everything is written from a Catholic perspective to prepare for and plan a Catholic wedding. If only one of you is Catholic and you’re getting married in the Church, you’re choosing to enter into a Catholic marriage and it’s paramount to your relationship that you both understand what that entails for your whole life, not just your wedding day. This Kit will help you share your Catholic faith with your non-Catholic fiance, or have your Catholic fiance share it with you!
