My iPhone has been a liiiiiiiittle damaged for a while now, so with 16 (!!!) days left in my Apple warranty, I got it replaced. I took ALL my photos off my old phone and scrolled through them yesterday. I ran across some from that time I hopped on a plane with two friends to go to a photography conference in Santa Barbara.
No big deal.
Honestly, I hardly took any photos while I was there. I was just breathing, taking it all in, experiencing California for the first time.
But you know how you always have those photos that you take, but never do anything with? They just kinda sit on your phone and you only remember them when you’re bored and swipe through your camera roll? Great memories, but it’s been so long since they happened that you’re not sure if/when to post them anymore?
These are those photos, baby.

Left – Right: taking photographers anywhere means this is how you see them most of the time // drinking wine & folding t-shirts like BOSSES at the Shoot & Share/PASS headquarters // the view from the table where we were drinking wine folding t-shirts // THE ANDREW BARLOW taking us for a tour of Santa Barbara (Taliah was excited, if you couldn’t tell).

Jackie painting her nails at breakfast cause she’s Jacilyn M, dammit! // The SB airport again cause it’s so pretty.

Left – Right: The Fess Parker, where we stayed for the week //the girls after breakfast on Sunday (thanks Doza for the photo!) // the French Press – amazing vanilla lattes // a lot of rugged United gents singing a little Boyz II Men.

Lane, one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet in your life, had me as one of his United hug/selfie people! // Cassie, Taliah, and I lookin’ niiiice for the fancy gala.

Left – Right: Justine’s birthday breakfast! // Justine’s birthday concert! (Okay so that’s actually THE ANDREW BARLOW along with some crazy talented photographers putting on a show that happened to fall on Justine’s birthday… but yes) // the faaab Melissa Kilner just bein a model over Jackie’s shoulder // the view off the pier a couple of hours before our flight home.
Yeah, California was pretty cool.
