She is fiercely independent, fully capable of crushing a to-do list by herself & still smiling at the end of a day that demanded too much of her, but she knows life is not meant to be lived alone.

He is warmly inviting, listening to understand – not reply – when you answer his inquiry of how you’ve been. He sees people not only for who they are, but who they could be. He knows the power that a sense of belonging brings.

They are both strong on their own, but they know the other brings out the best of their personalities. They make each other more forgiving, more trusting, more compassionate. They help refine each other to be more daring, more loving, more like the one who sacrificed His life to give them abundant life.

Everywhere you looked people were alternating between laughing & crying all day long. Tim & Rachel’s hearts were woven into every aspect of their wedding, from the romantic iconic couple silhouettes for every table (shoutout to Sarah for making them!) to the music they walked down the aisle to (Star Wars, y’all. They used music from Star Wars) & there was no doubt of the love they poured into thanking their guests that day.

Amidst the craziness of regular life, this was a day to pause & be thankful for all of it. A day for Tim & Rachel to say yes, we’re choosing the crazy together. 

Thanks for inviting me into your lives, Tim & Rachel. Cheers to many more hugs & life chats in the future!
