She paused scrolling through her “people you might know” and sent him a friend request. After seeing the photo of him in his dirty coveralls standing next to a giant piece of heavy machinery, she couldn’t resist ;)

They were in the same circle of friends and started seeing each other around more often. After a while, Maria let her best friends know what she was really thinking about this guy.

“If he asked me on a date, I wouldn’t say no.”

Well, Nick, I’m pretty sure we’re all very glad you asked. And that Maria didn’t say no.

Maria likes what she likes and she sure likes Nick. She’s fierce, in it to win it, has no time for b.s. but all the time for nonsense. And Nick keeps up with her. He’s steady, strong, appreciates where he’s been to know how good he’s got it now.

They’re both working hard to love each other bigger & better than the day before. And they’re doing a heckin good job of it.
