Welcome to the blog!

Their original wedding date was set for November 7 2020. They planned to let their venue do most of the work and loved the idea of a dark and moody winter party, complete with sparkly lights and lots of celebrating.

But, as we all know, 2020 had something different in store for Caitlin & Jordan!

Instead of their winter wedding – the one in mind when Caitlin picked out her GORGEOUS long-sleeved dress! – they opted to guarantee their marriage could begin this year by moving their ceremony up almost four months! What was going to be hands off kind of wedding became a very DIY (and do what you can!) sort of celebration. At the end of the mass Caitlin and Jordan said a few words to the small crowd; Caitlin shared how she believes everything happens for a reason and this day was exactly what she wanted. What a beautiful turn of events!

I’m so grateful I got to witness their decision making (and delegating!! go Mama Isabel!!) leading up to this day. God sure knows the details about how everything is going to turn out much better than we do because the wedding I was originally going to photograph on July 25 ended up being in June!!

Caitlin & Jordan, I can’t wait to celebrate with you guys AGAIN, especially after getting to (finally) meet you in person!!

PS. That’s not their cat… Caitlin is the cat whisperer and cats show up for her at all significant life events! I loved this little whisper of love from God for her!!!
