Mackenzie is bold & spirited, usually the one commanding the crowd with her wit & loud sense of humour. And with Kevin by her side encouraging her, she’s the best version of herself.

Together they are unafraid of being different. Pursuing a full life. Investing in people – in each other – above things.

Kevin & Mackenzie are so thoughtful, always looking for ways to actively show their friends that they care about them. They had a pumpkin spice latte waiting for me when I got in their car & she popped her CD right out of the player to give me when I said I liked the band.

I don’t think I’ve ever hung out with Mackenzie without laughing so hard I had tears streaking down my face, and this past weekend was no exception. I can’t even remember what we were laughing about, but I do remember that Kevin can make her laugh without saying anything.

To feel that kind of joy – to be able to laugh about nothing & be so happy about it – is something worth celebrating.
