Kevin let the other people on their mission trip lead the way through the streets of downtown Vancouver, the rain soaking them to the bone as they walked over an hour to their destination, just so he could talk to this intriguing girl. At first SharaLynn thought he was too cool for school, with his basketball gear and chill posture in the classroom, but on that trip she was quickly shown that this guy was different.
After spending so much of that weekend trip in his presence, she knew she was in troooouble, y’all. The best kind.
They are true best friends, talking about everything together. Opening their hearts in ways only the other gets to see. They’ve shared the story of who they are – who they’re becoming – because they trust the other is listening to understand, not reply.
Love is all about that. Making the commitment to truly let yourself be seen and wanting to see the other person, too. Understanding the beauty of grace in your life, and being able to hear how it has been poured out in someone else’s.
These two have beautiful, kind, warm hearts & want to share them with the world. They are full of joy & it shows in everything they do. I’m so thrilled I get to be part of their story.
AND – Kevin gives me a run for my money when it comes to world’s best hugs. No. Joke.
